ok me and my mum had a conversation today. well, we kind just put our stuff wherever we feel like it at home including my mum. anyway she asked me to tidy my stuff that was on the floor and i told her that she does it all the time and she went off saying if i just dump everything on the floor would you do it as well? and that if i have to work to get £1000 a month would you go and follow me? i just ignored her and she was waiting for an answer and cos i didn't want to argue back i was just quiet but really i wanna talk back. if i say one thing that she doesn't lke it's like i sid something wrong. who's in the wrong here? clearly if she dumps her stuff anywhere she wants then that means she's set an example to me that it' ok to dump things...well, really it's not but cos she does it i can do it as well if you understand what i'm saying.

I get what you're saying.
My mum is exactly the same.
So obviously I agree with you.
But hey, mum's are always right. Or so they reckon.

Would it take that much effort to clear your crap up just to keep things peacefull?

As long as your parents pay for everything for you and do things for you, you really can't compain. If you're mum goes out and works and comes home and can't be bothered to clean something up, they will later on, they think if their kids do that they won't do it later on, meaning they will have to do it, thats why! All parents think like this, just deal with it, it ain't that bad

Yeah, but the fact of the matter is parents should set an example.
Kids DO look up to their parents.

I know exactly where you're coming from. Parents are always setting an example though so when you go do something that they do, we get in trouble for it, but yet it's never wrong when they do it. I'd just clean it up not to argue. Sometimes it's just not worth it.
