"skype?" Whats that...
And, your 12... I dont think you should be meeting girls online dear...
And of course her mom doesnt want her to have a boyfriend...
You are very young still... maybe you should if you want a girlfriend bad
find a girl at your school prehaps?

Not a great idea to go out with someone on the net if you're 12. Try finding someone that you can actually see regulary in a safe place.

I agree with Brittany and Innamorata on this one, you're too young for that kind of thing,
and skype is like a phone thing you can use over the web, similar to video +voice conversations on msn

We mean you shouldn't be having internet relationships, and if they are too, tell them the same.

You might be a little young to have a girlfriend, you should wait until you are a little bit older.

If its just a giggly mess about ya havin with this person and enjoyin speakin thats fine, but I certainly wouldn't advise any Internet relationships at that age, especially if it involves meetups or anything else unless shes practically round the corner, and even then only go if ya KNOW that she's legit, and go with a friend. If theres any mega distance then, don't do it, theyre not advised even for older teens unless ya realy know what ya doin.
Otherwise as postin in the other thread where the girl was asking, relationships are fine as long as it involves nothing sexual, and ya aware of what ya doin, so just find someone ya like who likes ya back and enjoy some time together, but as said RL (Real Life) relationships are heavily advised at that age above Internet ones.

I don't know if you're too young to have a girlfriend - only you can decide that. But a long distance relationship at that age...is a bit of a sketchy thing. Especially if her mom doesn't approve. You may just want to be friends at the present moment. If later on you are both still interested, then maybe you can try again.

Online relationships never ever work. Especially with tennagers. There's no way this is anything but a waste of time. And it means you're vulnerable to predetors. Go do your homework, write poetry, teach yourself guiter, play football, join a dungeons and dragons club, become freakishly good at HALO. Stop wasting your time. Date people you know in real life. (Or better yet, no one at all in middle school)

(Or better yet, no one at all in middle school)That's actually not true. I know a girl who met her husband online as a teenager. I'm 15, and I've been with my boyfriend for over 3 months, and he's on another continent.
Anyway, on topic:
Fuck her mom. My parents don't approve of my boyfriend either, but they don't have any right to tell me who I can and can't date, and the same goes for your girlfriend. However, as many have said here, you're 12; that's too young for any relationship, let alone an online one - they're much more difficult to keep healthy than one offline. I suggest you wait a few years before you start dating at all.

I don't think it is a good idea. You could really get hurt. I'm not saying all people on the net are bad people but plz be careful. Be extremely careful. How old is this girl? Try dating people at your school like Brittany said.

Ok so your Mum's deleted it, I guess you could now just try and move on, it shows you how simple a relationship can end, at the click of a button.
