View Full Version : Confessing to your crush

Sometimes when I fall really hard for someone, I can't stop thinking about them. Memories of them make me smile, etc, etc. Basically, I'm REALLY smitten.
But after I confess to them and a few days later, suddeny I feel totally neutral towards them. Like, I can't feel anything. Not love, friendship, hate or resentment.
So weird... does anyone else get this kinda.. thingy?

You get the feeling that you don't know what you want because you have confessed to them and after a few days they still haven't decided what they want.

It's true, you always want what you can't have.. Then once you have it, it's not as appealing as it was before..
But, if you truely loved the person, then it wouldn't be like that.. Afterwards would feel even better! Because you have suceeded in getting who you wanted..

How did you succeed from confessing? :S
*shrugs* Frankly this no-feeling thing after confessing cycle is pissing me off.
It goes something like:
Fine/Normal
Crush
REALLY smitten/happy
Depressed/fretting over possible confession
Confession
More fretting
Neutral
Neutral
Neutral
Neutral
Annoyed (at self)
Fine/Normal

I (as in me personally) suceeded by getting him as my boyfriend.
I guess that's not what you meant though? I get what you meant now by reading how you felt before and after confessing to your crush..

>< *hugs* Aww that sucks. Yeah... me and my crush.. I guess we're okay. It's just a bit weird sometimes, but I sometimes I wonder if I'd just said nothing and kept being just friends and secretly in love, would I have been happier?

You would have been constantly nervous around him and starting to feel a little paranoid.
You would have always wondered, what if I tell him, what would it be like, and that would drive you insane trust me.

Lol haha recently I don't really get nervous around crushes. Just a bit... I dunno
But I guess you're right on that... but sometimes it seems so much easier to be ignorant and still be able to dream, rather than to know for sure.
