Whats Russias problem with a defence system? As it also seems very likely that when terrorists do get access to the technology to shoot nuclear shit at us they will. I suppose if the system doesnt get built because of Vladimir Putin and they do shoot that at us then he will have the death of quite a few million innocent people on his conscience.

I dont get his problem anyway, its not as if the defence system threatens them.

It doesn't seem very likely that he will shoot. The Russians say that they will be pointing at European missile sites. "A technical measure. Its like there trying to blag it off as something tha isn't very important.

Yeah it isnt a very sensible idea, to piss off the Americans and Europe at the same time. At one point they had the strongest army in Europe and around Europe, yet now i doubt they could hold up a fight for very long against us.

You have to see it from their point of view. Relations are the coldest they have been between the West and the USSR since the cold war. They don't see it as defence but a moe against them. I'm not sure I can blame them for that.

They couldn't get a missle into our borders, not only would it run into an ass load of jets but missles coming to get it, unless of course it was nuclear and even then we have the ability to stop it as it enters into space using other methods, but thats if we catch it in time. I think they are saying that they want the UK, France and some of our other friends to have that same ability.

And that war would be about protecting your country so don't be stupid, we could shoot long range stratigic missles today and it hit 10 points before you guys knew what was coming, I think thats what our country is trying to help you fix. And I doubt it would be us starting this war, I think the point of defense systems is to help prevent war. However, I'm sure if Russia demonstrates your your protection systems for you, you will come crying to the US to take them out because they destroyed all your missle sites due to lack of protection, still a pointless war?

Tis a civil war pretty much has nothing to do with the world pretty much. Asking you to look into the Cechen war is like asking you to learn Spanish overnight, especially since right now they are in the SECOND CHECHEN WAR, which if what kid was going to tell you that you knew nothing about he should have clearly mentioned and was started in retalition to Chechen invasion of Dagestan. They have been in that war for so long its pretty much a lifestyle for them now.

Basically here is a draft. Chechnya is America and Russia is Britian. Now take the U.S. independance war, and mix it with pong (going back and forth) and you have the Chechen War, all it is a civil war about seperation and it keeps on going back and forth over independance and take back.

Maybe they should sort out their own country and their own war without starting another one with us.

Well yes, that of course is true, but you should look to the fact that they have had extreme trouble with the US and the UK in the past and they can infact look at it as possibly everyone preparing for a war, instead of them looking at it like we do and as a way to help prevent war. Plus people are nosey as you know lol. Who knows when they will sort out their own problems.

My point is, is that if we get involved in a cold war with Russia, Chechnya is going to be well involved. The UN will tell them such fanciful lies about how they will give them independence, and then Chechnya will be nothing more then rubble by the end. And just because the Chechen war has been going on for some time doesn't make it any less horrible or any less painful to the families of dead soldiers. When thinking about how this war is going to turn out, Chechnya is the biggest factor. And, bad news for you guys, but America won't be in this one. Unless you get another proverbial Japan to pull a fast one, which I doubt.

They are aiming them at your missle sites which was very broad and quite a few I do believe. But it would have to be artillery since their goal is to do more damage and cause more destruction, by aiming there they could literally Kill your chances of a good war.

I think with the way the war is going in iraq, its never going to stop. The next president is going to have to be damn good.... Bush is going to cause major havoc before he is out of office, and if does anything too drastic, the next president isnt going to take us out of war..


Why are we still in a war over something that happened over 4 years ago? Yes there is a threat of people coming to america and bombing us. But honestly, why wouldnt someone? Look at us, were a shitty country. Were not #1 anymore... and we wont be... The only way we will get back to that "spot of greatness" is to go into a world war, and thats exactly where were headed.

im not talking about weapons. in general. I know the US is either number one or close to in weapsons, but thats because we have the power to make them.

And other countires are making more weapons because they know that a war is commming or because they feel threatnd. Weapsons are to show power, but in all reality, in todays world, thats not what shows power

Yes they are building them because of fear but even if they hurry and build them we still have perfection. Comparing their weapons to ours is like comparing 512Mb of ram to 10Gb of ram. That 512Mb may beable to do a lot but when it comes down to it, to do something hard you need that 10Gb.
