Have you ever tried to pair up people in the past?
If so has it ever worked, and has a couple lasted ages?
Or have your past experiences always seemed to fail.

I personally have never tried to pair people up, not many people give me a chance to. Don't know why.

I didn't realise this was going to turn into a single people's 'never for myself' thread, guess I better join in.

Yep I pretty much paired up my friend Lauren with her boyfriend of 2 years, Robin. Unfortunately I soon discovered that he is actually a pretentious knob but by this point it was already too late because she had sadly fallen in love with him. Being a meddler always comes back to bite me in the ass.

yep i have. i have three best friends and one of them had a really bad relationship with her ex and me and my other best friends hook her up with the guy that she had a crush on. after her nasty relationship with her ex, this other guy who she grew up with helped her through her break up and was there for her which made her fall in love with him. she kind of avoided the fact she liked him cos she only wanted to see him as a brother. anyway, me and my friends said "you really, really like him don't you. don't avoid it, just because you grew up with him, you don't have to see him as a brother". it's better that way rather than you not knowing someone you like cos u've been friends before. so we set them up on a date but she really didn't see it only cos she only saw him as a friend then and after three dates, she's all over him. she told us she had a great time and have been together for a year now.

Yeah it's always ended up distasterous, and it proves to never work when people pair others up. It never works out in the end for some reason, but oh well whatever.
You have to meet the right people your own way, random by chance whoever you happen to cross by and have an atrraction with. You can't rush or pressure love.

Yeah, I set 2 of my best mates up because they didn't believe the other like them lol. They've been together a year this month :). Also set up some girl I used to know with a guy she liked and they were together 6 months before breaking up lol.
