I don't really think its something we can say, but it depends what kind of model you want to be.
A lot of the time its not about being pretty or tall but about having a photogenic or unusual face. Like Lily Cole (http://www.style.com/slideshows/fashionshows/S2006CTR/CHANEL/DETAILS/00580m.jpg)

to me, she doesn't really strike me as beautiful but her face translates well in the camera and with makeup, and when shes doing campaigns she looks fantastic.

So depending on what type of model you want to be, I think you'd probably need to send pictures off to an agency, there are a lot online who ask people to send pictures to them. But you need to send one where you have a clear, natural full portrait of your face with little or natural looking makeup (also no picture editing) and a full picture of your body. I think you'll also need to research into them a bit more, cos there are dodgy agencies and its a really harsh industry anyway so you need to be informed.

I used to use this website a lot for careers advice, a lot of the information it gives is a load of crap because its completely misinformed about some things, but what I found about modelling for you seems to be right.

(Edit: Unfortunately I just discovered the URL doesn't work with a direct link, but go on to http://www.connexions-direct.com/jobs4u/index.cfm and search for fashion model, and then read all the information. It also gives you more information if you click a little orange link at the bottom of the page which says something about further information)

Like I said, we can't decide for you because we are not a modelling agency, like if you were the previously mentioned Lily Cole I probably would have said there is no chance but shes earning millions from what she does now.

But basically, send legit agencies pictures of yourself looking natural, try more than one if you really want to do this, and they'll tell you what they think.

And if it doesn't work out with any of them, its not because you're not attractive but models have to be of a certain breed and it may just be you're not the type of person they are looking for, it wouldnt be that you're ugly or anything cos you're not.

QFT.

Removed the link as theres no need to show em or ask really, as Jess said only professional modelling agencies could decide that, our opinions are worthless.

Edit: Apologies if that was a bit harsh but some threads can be taken as self promotion so I was trying to prevent anyone thinking that.

Feel free to post yer pics in member pics though. :)
