Hmm.. I can't really specify for each console.. but I suppose you could say that, at current, my all time favorite game is Shadow Hearts: Covenant. The battle system, granted, is kind of a pain to get used to, what with the use of the Judgement Ring, but it gets easier to use as you play through the game.
One of the things that I found intriguing is the time that its set in. You don't get many, or any game set in the First World War that doesn't involve you playing as a soldier in the army, or better still, even an RPG.
Hands down, I say that this game has got to be the best, in my opinion.

Rainbow Six Three. I like that kind of game where you don't just go running around wasting bad guys, you have to be very tactical. Health wounds are realistic (three body shots and you're dead), and AI is pretty good. I was scouting this guy in an office block, for him to run around when he was out of sight and attack my group from behind, killing one of my colleagues.
Other honourable mentions:
- GTA 3
- Halo
- Knights of the Old Republic
- Top Spin

MGS1- Playstation
MG-TTS- Gamecube
MGS3- PS2
Halo2-xbox
Advanced Warror Fighter- 360
BTW i do love GTA just not as much as I love MGS!

Ive been playing "Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" recently on my PC (also out on 360), its awesome and not as 'geeky' as it sounds. I just set up a man for a triple murder and then told the guards that HE did it, they arrested him, lol.
Its also one of the best looking games ive ever seen (my PC runs it equivalent to the 360 version so its very nice to look at as you can imagine).
I'd highly recommend this and its definitely getting up there with my favourite games.

I honestly dont get why I like it so much at times either... it shouldnt be any more special than all of the other FPS (First-Person Shooters) out there. Preference I guess.

Mutant League Hockey -- Sega Genesis
It was this hockey game, where you could pick from teams of various types of robots or monsters. You could violently attack opponents with weapons like chainsaws and clubs. There were full screen fights. There were pits in the ice, exploding pucks, and ref bribing too.

Ahh.. retro games, now, huh? For a retro game, I would have to say that there were quite a few that caught my attention, but there were few that caught my attention more than the Sonic games, that came out for the Mega Drive.
Another Mega Drive game that I used to play for ages would have been Wiz n Liz. I'm not sure if many of you will remember that one, though.. XD

I am likewise, Duroxis. Though I like the game, I wouldn't go out of my way to worship it.. I'd rather stick with playing what interests me, rather than drooling over a FPS, which some people cannot deny that they do..
