Advice Anyone? Sorta desperate here...

I need help and if anyone with any advice whatsoever please feel free to write. Alright, there's this guy.And we used to go out but not anymore. I don't know what happened. It happened over the summer vacation. And when school started we just stopped any kind of communication between us. It's getting ridiculous to the point where he won't even acknowledge my existence in the room. I bought him something for his birthday to show some truce or peace or a friendship sign but he didn't even thank me for that :/ Basically he just doesn't talk to me anymore. AND he's not a shy-type so maybe it's just me who he's avoiding :( Please no advice that I should start the conversation. That's ALL my friends tell me what to do.

Maybe you should 'get over him'... If you're trying to communicate with him and he is ignoring you on purpose, then I dont see why you should continue... Even ignore him...
But, if you do really care about him... The whole 'show him that you dont care' thing, might not be the right way to go about it...
I just think you should try to forget about him... Its not doing you any good trying to talk to him all the time while he's ignoring you...

Yeah, unfortunately you'll have to ignore him and move on. It sounds very harsh and its obviously going to be difficult but its the only thing you can really do. It sounds to me like he is intentionally being an asshole and ignoring you. Maybe he's trying to play 'hard to get' or maybe he's being an ignorant git and decided he doesn't like you anymore. Either way, you can either do the same to him or you could confront him and ask him why he is being like that. It seems kindness didn't work, so you'll probably have to be harsh.

If he's ignoring you like that then you should just forget about him and move on. Ignore him right back.

Was it over something big?
And who broke it off?

well the best I have is, its not that he doesn't realize your there cause he knows he just wants to be a jerk I say from previous experiance ignore him move on and he decides that he wants to talk let him come to you . I find if you pretend like they're not their either the eventually get tired of it and talk to you till then ignore it all and move on.
