I was cheated on, but he chose not to tell me about it (his friend told me, and then later asked me out rofl) and just blamed it on distance even though its only 4 bloody miles :P

Its not just guys though, women do that too. But he probably as said didn't see how good he had it. Sometimes people feel urges to go for someone else because they think the grass is greener on the other side, so to speak. Then they realise it is not, and come crawling back.
