Suicide is pity to me. You're feeling sorry for yourself although nothing is so bad that you should kill yourself because there are people who love you and care if you die even if you don't believe it, there is always a reason to stay here, there is always something you can do to make the world better or help just one person. Being alive is better than being dead and buried in the ground.
It pisses me off when people kill themselves, and just give up over stupid shit. It pisses me off when people rant over killing themselves and even if they don't succeed the first time they keep ranting about it and trying it again and again. Fuck, get over it already. Life sucks sometimes. Suck it up buttercup.
People who kill their fucking selves don't deserve any respect. They're just sorry bastards feeling sorry for theirselves. Nothing but self-pity for themselves. So selfish.

Ah, well, it sucks for those fools who waste their precious years of living by commiting suicide and ending their lives by their own hands. Bad things in life are meant to happen for you to learn and experience, and life's all about trying to live this f*cked up world. They don't know that it could affect their family and friends and make a huge impact in their lives without knowing. Selfishness indeed. Remember that your life isn't yours but is just borrowed and you're not promised tomorrow.

Yeah I agree completely.

Although, if that's what gives them hope, thinking there is something better at the end & if it makes them happpy then let them get on with it.

I don't agree it's self-pity.
If the person wanted to commit suicide THAT badly though, they would do it regardless of telling everyone about it. That's usually just for the attention & a cry for help.

God.

You can't speak for every single person who has ever killed themselves.

My uncle shot himself to death, he was abused then disowned by my grandparents, addicted to heroin and the only person he really had was my dad who was on the other side of the world. I don't think he was self-pitying, just helpless. In his suicide note, he also said that he was scared that he was going to hurt other people (I think he had had a physical fight with my grandfather weeks before), would you call that a selfish reason to commit suicide?

Clearly you can't understand the complete feeling of despair because you have never experienced it, I think to say suicide is self-pity is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Anyone to go to the extreme of trying to end their life has got a few more issues than just 'feeling sorry for themselves'.

God.

Depression and suicide are absolutely nothing to do with self pity. It is an illness just as much as anything else. If someone had was in a coma, would you say it was lazyness? Absolutely not. Its the same thing, it cannot be helped by the person. Depression can be hereditory and lead to suicide. They feel there is no escape from their misery except to do that. Also some people have so many bad experiences in life they just want to end it. Whilst I agree that its self pity when perfectly healthy teenagers try to attention seek by saying they are going to go and kill themselves, genuine suicide is not self pity, it is a final cry for help.

i have nothin agaist death. it's the suffereing assicated with death that screws it up! the pain before dying, the unconsolable feeling from the mourners etc

my immediate reaction has come down to every time somethin goes wrong, no matter how small, thinking, "o dats alright i can always kill myself later if it gets too bad" which helps me not to worry bout it because it just reminds me that, as my athtist thinking leads me to belive, lifes a bit of fun! theres no grand plan theres no be all and end all.. we are just here to enjoy life! if it's totally not fun any more than why keep holding on?

of cors in reality the suffering from others of my death would outweigh any urge i would have to end it! many many peoples lives would be ruined... i'm loved XD

as i expect we all are

even if we don't think it ;)
