Does anyone else ever have repetitive nightmares? If so what are they like?

I have had one every so often, well around every year, that I can briefly remember having since about the age of 3.
Its wierd cause I can't exactly remember what happens in the dream, there is something to do with lots of numbers and some sort of lifts but thats it. In the end of the dream I get that falling sensation then I wake up screaming really loudly and I don't have a clue why.

Once, a few years ago I ran down the stairs screaming and then woke up on the living room floor after my Dad asked me what was wrong.

Its really wierd and I have alwsy wondered what this dream meant.....

It's not a recurring dream, but I had a really unusual dream last night. I posted a blog on it . =]. Read it there.

I have one every time I am ill, I have had it ever since I was little too.

It's weird. It starts off with loads of lines and dots going across a black screen, for ages, making bleeping noises, it slows down or gets faster. Then it switches to a white open area, with me curled up on the floor and I can hear something blkack coming towards me. A really terrifying man, I can't see his face but I know what he looks like, he walks towards me and leans over me, then I wake up really scared. It gets me everytime. It's stupid.

In the end of the dream I get that falling sensation then I wake up

I used to have that, but in hte dream i'd be entering from teh corner (upper) of my room and fall from the corner, across the rom diagonally into my bed, then I'd wake up.

I've never had a repeating nightmare, but I have had a repeating dream.

for many years, around christmas time i had the drema i was walking with my mom down the sidewalk, and we see a large red factory. We go in and theres a red love seat and santas there. My mom stis down and they start talking, and i walk through those plastic stips like they have as doors at grocery stores. I wake up before I get through, but for some reason I know theres loads of candy in there

when i wake up i can still feel my hand wraped round it....does that mean what I thinbk it means? if so.... ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Ok, back on topic lol.

These dreams which most of you or atleast some of you are having are caused by parts of the brain that are not fully functioning, like for example; when we talk our brain figures what we're gona say, then we speak or the same for self defence whilst having a fight. Its stating that your facing problems with family or your friends, like "pearson" you clearly described your mates house, there could be a misunderstanding between you and him whilst you were at school or you may have a coonection with the house?? Most of these all fall into place at somepoint, you just have to wait and see what happens! They sometimes have a "supernatural" connection too.

the falling sensation is usually when you stop breathing, when your body wakes you up when you jerk forward you start breathing again.

Some people are short of breath when that happens too.

Thanks mate, Yer understand how it all works, but I never really had problems with him and havent seen him in ages! I doesnt really bother me. And I dont have abnormal problems with Family or Friends (by that I mean everybody has problems)

Talking of dreams I had a really scary one were I was asleep, then I dreamt that I woke, turned the light on and a man stabbed me to death. The scary thing was the sheer realism about it. I had this dream twice, one time I was at the same mates house....Scary!

Ever since i was little i used to always have this nightmare where i was in a dark room and there were all these white lines (kind of like a spiders web) closing in on me until i couldnt breathe, then i would get that falling sensation, but i couldnt move my arms or anything and i couldnt see the floor...then i would wake up and do that dodgy twitch you do when you wake up after a 'falling dream'.

Yes.

My sister is a ghost who haunts our house which is a major library.
Sounds funny, but it is not.
