I think you have all misunderstood. Middle class doesn't mean that you are ok for money. Middle class is posh. Upper class is just basically royalty. Upper middle is like people who live in mansions and middle class is the people who live in the biggish houses, have a couple of cars, have a very,very tidy sum of money.

Working class is ok for money or below. Working class is what the majority of this country is. It's hard to explain. I'm definitley working class. I live in a shitty part of Nottingham to start, I go to football (a proper working class game :D ) and I like to hang about at night doing nothing :P

My parents dont work but my nan has a shop, not a very good one but she somehow manages to rake in around £40K.

I think, depending on different areas round here, I'm probably lower middle class to middle class. I was trying to work out. I think my parents earn around 50K between them.

The town I live in is a real working class town. Alot of people work at the Moly mine. In relationship to my town, we're upper middle class.

My mom brings in about 100K a year, and my stepdad brings in about 40K.

umm i dunno ...cause my mum and steppy (whom im living with atm) own a house which is worth $650,000 AUS and own two cars pretty average a ford and a kia and a business worth $230,000 aus

and my dad and stepp mum (whom i live with on holdiays) are rich they own 4 business and like 3 houses

but i dont care so i guess my family would be middle but i dont care. cause thats my family not me i wanna earn my living all by my self so i guess im working class (just with me none of my family assets.

Well, I suppose upper class would be the most apt term. That is, whilst I don't see myself as particularly wealthy, US tax code seems to disagree, as do the statistics, which suggest that I'm in the wealthiest 3-4% of the country. Not like it makes much of a difference though, as I still have to pay for all of my own stuff.
