Chatting to girls at college!

Right, ive just started college and i dont know any girls there! I dont really fancy any in my class but i do ones that arent in my form! I see them around college! How can i just go up to them, randomly chat and then maybe ask for there number?
can anyone give me some tips on what to do?
whether to chat on and off over a week then ask for her number and see if she wants to meet up some time? the difficult thing is theyre not on my course so i would only see them at lunch or after college finishes so its not like i can talk to them during class and get to know them i can only ask them during breaks and stuff! im not very good at this sort of thing! whats the best thing to do?

The best thing to do is if you see them on there own at any point go up and say hi, ask them what courses there doing etc, its an easy topic. You've got to get to know them a bit before you even concider asking for their number.

If you can talk to them about things, i mean ask around see if people know them, you might get lucky and someone in your class might know them etc :D and hopefully you'll end up some how talking to her in your breaks and then you can ask her to hang out outta college at some point then get her number or email addie etc :D Gd luck

Just be friendly go up and talk to them when you find the time and ask them if they want to hang out, but talk to them get aqquainted first just ask if they want to hang out don't come on too strongly because sometimes that can freak them out.
