Civilization IV

has anyone got this game? it's mint, Civilization IV (Civ 4 for short) is a reyt game which i would seriously recommend, if you have got Civ 4 what do you think about it?

What type of activitys you do on the gam/whats the main purpose?
The only civilisation game I played was a REALLY old one

its basically building cities in your civiliisation to battle other empires such as german ,french, spanish etc with milliatry units whilst also building up your civs culture, population etc

Sounds like Age Of Empires, how does it compare?

From playing Civ3 there is alot of diffrences to AOE, Age of empires is on a smaller scale, CIV3 is more widespread over a global map, where as AOE is more like a big battle field.
