Hey

There is a girl who gave me her number. About 2 weeks ago I texted her but she never replied, so I decided to ring her and if she ignored that to just forget about it. She answered and explained to me that she had been really busy with work but said that we couldn't go out for two weeks as she was going away but would ring me when she gets back to arrange something.

Anyway nearly two weeks later I haven't heard anything but my friend said he saw her at the gym yesterday.

So my question is what should I do? Shall I wait until tomorrow or Friday wait to see if she rings me then if not ring her, or should I just text her tonight asking how her holiday was and that my friend saw her the other day.

I don't want to come across as desperate though.

Ok, well either:

She may have just forgotten.
She said she was going away to make you possibnly forget about it as she may not be as interested as you hope.
She doesn't intend to ring you.


I'd just text her asking her how she is, not much more than that, if she wants to then take any further steps then hopefully she will do in reply. I wouldn't mention that your friend saw her at all, that would make you sound a little desperate as if you know she hasn't got hold of you.

Perhaps she has a lot on her mind, so just text her and ask how she is. Don't nag her. That would seriously piss her off and would make you seem desperate.

Yeah like I said, I only meant text her once, don't keep texting her if she doesn't reply, if she wants to she will.

If she's at the Gym it sounds like she lied to you. Maybe you came off too pushy by calling her and texting her and such and she got all freaked out and decided to ignore you? I don't know.
If she doesn't call you in say, two days, give her two days, then forget about her. If she's too busy for you her loss.
