The meaning of true love?

ive never experienced it, sometimes though i have thought that i love some1 at first sight like know they are the perfect person but i have come to realise its just my mind, and almost everyone i know cant realise that, like right now one of my friends is really depressed cus he thinks he "loves" this girl even though he doesnt know her name or anything about her and he just cant accept it and it frustrates me...infact all my friends irritate me cus they are all to immature and dont respect themselves. but i really wanna help my friend and get some advice myself!

Well everyone views it in a different way, love is just the name for a certain type o feelins u have towards someone. Some people do just view it as they love em because theyve seen em and like the look of em, or want em in bed real bad.

For me, it means the feelin when "goin out" with someone, knowing a bit about em, enjoying their company, but mainly caring for them in the utmost way. Such as havign the will to do absoloutly anything for that person as long as it has a positive effect, even if it means giving your own life, or taking a critical injury yourself to save them, and mainly just wanting to make them smile any way and any time possible, and lookin towards a future that ya could have together.

Unfortunately its never really worked out yet but, thats how I view "love".
The guy you speak of is probably just experiencing lust not love, or more likely lonelyness, as he thinks hes found someone with the potential to fill that gap, but with the way I view it, it cant actually be love he feels as he doesent know the person.

i av been wid dis boy 4 a yr. i luv em and i no i do and i no dat e luvs me. e went away 4 ten days and i cudnt sleep or tink with out it bein em dats in ma mind. i was cryin and evry tin. es de only boy i av slept wid and cud evr c ma self wid luv is sum tin dat cums wen evr. i blive in luv at first sight coz e was playin fubal. but we saw eachother on camp wid da cadets bout six months later and den got 2 getha its funny how life works but boy i dnt regret ne of it.

i think true love means loving a person more then anything in the world, it means wanting them to be happy and never wanting them to be sad,hurt or upset.it means you love them so much you'd die for them, and it means even if they mess your head up or break your heart you still love them and you wand them to be happy no matter what even if it's not with you. thats what i think true love means that and alot more.

I think true love is pretty much the same as wot as bin sed, it's where u av a feeling inside of u everytime ur nt together tht jst misses em! u wanna b wid them all the time, jst the thought of spending time wiv then can bring a big smile 2 ur face. everytime u r with them u never want 2 leave and like it's bin sed above u wud do absolutely nething for them jst to c them safe and happy! and when or if u ever find tht feeling its 1 tht u shud hold on2 tight cos it's worth so much! well tht's my view neway!

Love is just a generalization to call it, you will only know when you expieriance it. you have your definition as well as everybody else does, maybe you have just not figured yours out.
