I have no idea what to wear..I am 160lbs and I wanna wear a strapless dress..but im afraid that I wont look good in it..what is everyone else wearing.and how much do you weigh....?

Let's put it this way.

If you have boobs, then you can pull off a strapless dress...haha. I wore a vintage yellow strapless to a prom I went to last year, and it was awesome. I'll probably wear a strapless again this year. Just look for something that flatters your body shape. If you're larger, get one that kind of tapers at the waste then flairs out.

thats a good point..but my mother (god love her) has a limit of nothing over 100 dollars..that is sorta IMPOSSIBLE..but I could always try..

Look in thrift stores.

That's where I found my dress. Vintage is in, and you can find AMAZING things there. My dress was only like...$50.

yeah, I agree. Check in Thirft stores. You might be able to find something. My older sister's best friend bought a dress their at any amazingly low price and was able to find shoes with her dress. Her total price was like about $95 dollars that is what she told me.Well, I hope I helped and hope you have/had a happy prom!

I'm making my own prom dress :D i've bought the material its black satin gotta make it for the 18th May so i'd better hurry up and make it i've bought all my jewellery, make up, shoes and bag i couldn't wait

its so awesome you're making your own prom dress... thats some skill there... i used to love sewing... but id never have the patience to do something like that... i still have a year or so... but i dont even think im going to go to prom... watch me be like the only one :-\

hmm the thing is all my really close friends dont even go to my school which totally sucks... i might end up going with friends though... im a sophmore now... and im not going this year... i highly doubt ill go next year... but i think my friends will force me to go my senior year... and i probably should go because its one of those things you only do once in life...
