Time Travel

Don't know what made me think of this so don't ask! :P

If you could Time Travel to any Destination and any Point in Time. Where would it be, what would you do and why?

Personally I would like to go and see the Dinosaurs, that would be cool!
Id also go a few years into the Future and steal somethign that I could reproduce now to make loads of cash! :P

If i could travel back in time; i would visit those of my family who have passed away and my family who i din't get to meet, also i would like to see what my area would have looked like all them many years ago :P

For me id havto go by a strict set of rules, these would be:

Check that it isnt a joke.
Get paid before I go.
Go someplace where I wouldnt have to take my own weapons.
Make sure my safety is guaranteed.
And go with someone who had done it more than once before.

Id read up on all the old stock market stuff, then go back in time, invest in microsoft and varius other industries abouts to make serious money :P

teach my younger self stuff, make my younger self be more confident, make myself work out and start parkour at a younger age :P
just anything that would make smarter, stronger, faster and richer really :P

Maybe save a few million lifes you know how it is with time travel :P

I'd go back to visit my ancestors probably, then skip forward a bit, to see my grandad and the family I never met, as they died before I was born. Then I'd probably relive my life, and skip past the boring bits. =P

Anyways back to the subject at hand . i would try and stop sept 11 and abli bombings and go to the future and restart my life i would study so hard and shit :)

I think i would do like Sam Beckett did in that 90's TV show Quantum leap. I would go back and try to right little wrongs for people, but try not to affect big stuff, or i would risk, 1. messing stuff up BIG time or 2. End up not being born, and that would suck for me and the paradox might blow up the universe.

Yeah Id do pretty much what everyone else has said, Make myslef generally a lot better at everything and try harder. Especially at football!

You know theoretically its possible to travel in time. The theory is that if we could see round the curvature of the earth then we would be able to see our selved but in the future, becasue the time it takes the light (or our sight) to travel round the earth would be alot less than a second, so it we could see into the future but i dont think time travel follows the same rule but if it were possible then you would only be able to go forward in time becase you would have to go twice as fast as the speed of light to go back in time. This is because you would have to travel against the motion of the earth. I was really interested in this sort of thing when i got to know more about it. It is quite interestin.

Surely thats impossible, because if you saw yourself doing something in the future, then you could change that. For example if you saw your self making a cup of tea, you could change that and make coffee, therefore you'v just seen something that never actually happened...which would be impossible!

no because its already happened you see. I know it sounds strange but if you see something in the future then that is your time line and its goin to happen weather you like it or not, like seeing into the future would be apart of your time line too. Like you could look into the future and see yourself looking into the furture in 10 years time. So basically, you trying t change the future will be part of your future too :P. Thats the theory neways.
