What do you think the best Star Wars movie was?

I am a little torn between the latest one, Revenge of the Sith and the Original, A new Hope.

They both have great qualities about them. I think if they were both made recently then A New Hope would be top for me, Revenge of the Sith is only amazing cause of its Special Effects! :P

The older ones have great storylines but the new ones have the graphics to back the storylines up to make the films more enjoyable

They all have great graphics if you watch the new DVD Box Sets. :P

As far as I'm concerned, Star Wars is only the original trilogy. Episodes 1 and 2 are, as far as I'm concerned, in the same boat as fan films: worth viewing, and maybe owning. But nothing when compared to the original trilogy. And Episode 3 sucked at an epic level. Of the original three films, I suppose Empire is best. I can't wait to order the 9-disc fan release of the trilogy.

Return of the Jedi is the best.

Episode 1 was awful because of bloody Jar Jar Binks (ive still got it on DVD though, lol)

Episode One had a great lightsaber battle at the end. Sad as it sounds, but the skill that the 3 Jedi showed in it was one of the defining reasons for me to start learning Wushu. Graceful and brutal at the same time.

My personal favourite was Revenge of the Sith. Empire Strikes Back was also pretty damn good.
