ok this is kinda confdential so pls keep it confidential.

Info about me 1st:

Name: Mike
Age: 14 and 1/2
Problem: I'm 14 but i am too weak, i can't even do 2 push ups. I see other plz who can do alot of stuff and i'm kinda depressed. I don't have self confident so i don't like to go to gyms and besides i hate excersise and is kinda lazy. Nono i'm not overweight instead i'm underweight only 48kg XD. And i'm a skinny freak. Sometime my friends pick on me and i just simply don't have the confident to retaliate. I don't know if i'm scared that i'm not strong enough or just simply can't. Please help me. To sum up i have 2 problems:

1: Being too weak and i want more muscles
2: No self confident to fight or retaliate

First off you don't need to fight, or retaliate. Not at all. I learnt the hard way that fighting gets you nowhere, nothing changes and you just look like a prick.

Your first problem will be your self confidence. Before you go to work on your body you need to like yourself enough to do it. If you hate yourself the question "Why bother?" comes up, in your case as laziness.

Focus on what you like about yourself. Anything good, doesn't need to be anything with your body, a subject you're good at, a game it doesn't matter. But know you are good at something, or at least better than someone else at it.

As for your body, I would talk to your parents and any well built close friends you have, try to eat a lot more carbs (shouldn't be too hard) and if you can make them 'good' carbs, instead of Maccy D's eat jacket potato with cheese and tuna or something similar, you want carbs not chemicals.
Then work out! If you don't have a gym near you then buy some weights or improvise, if you have a bag fill it with something and use it for bench presses and running (sling it on and run when its heavy, does good work for the legs and doubles as cardio :)). This way you can make the weights suit you.
If you can find whatever the highest weight you can lift is (only need to be able to do it once) and then 3/4 of that is your bulking weight. It doesn't need to be in pounds, bricks or whatever you are using as a weight will do. 3/4 of that is your bulking weight, use it to bulk your muscles, you don't need to do it much, 3 sets of 10 repetitions a day (do it 10 times at three different times of the day) will bulk you faster than you think. about 1/4 or a 1/3 is your toning weight, you probably won't need it for awhile (you bulk first, then tone) but you do 4 times the repetition for toning, it makes you look better and makes each muscle stronger for size.

Look on the internet for gym exercises and see what you can improvise using stuff around (and outside) the house.

Firs tthough, get your parents backing. At 14 you have more free time now than later so start! Go!!

If you can, join a sport too. You may need to work out a bit first, but if you swim your upper body will get a good workout and you can later take up rowing (find a club, rowing is brilliant for a workout) and maybe a few sports like tennis and rugby, it doesn't matter, anything will get you fit and ready.

In summary:
* Talk to your parents, get their support.
* Ask any close friends who work out/are muscular for help, exercise with them if they'll let you, a partner always helps.
* Join a gym if you have one, if not, improvise! Use a weighted bag (whatever weights you want) and run with it, lift it etc.
* Look through some sites on the internet for the different muscle groups, see what you want to work on and work on them!
* If you can, take up a sport, doesn't need to be team orientated if you worry about letting others down, swimming or sculling (rowing alone) are both brilliant workouts, tennis or squash work too :)
* You are trying to gain weight, not lose it...eat!
* Have fun! Don't push yourself too hard, you will tear too much of your muscle causing a strain and slowing you down. Exercise releases endorphins which make you happy. So relax into it, if you don't feel up to it one day add what you would've done to subsequent days. Feel like pushing yourself? Do it! If you don't feel as wonderful later you have done the extra work so you can give yourself a break.

Mate, i'm 17, 5 foot 8 and weigh 52kgs, you've got nothing to worry about.

It's most likely your metabolism, make the most of it by doing a balance of cardio and weights.

I weigh less than you, but you are still underweight. The point is you shouldn't be exersizing or losing any weight. You should be gaining some. Eat dairy products and meat and vegtables and some fruits, and make sure you eat at least 3 times a day. They say a growing person needs about 1200 calories a day. I suggest you eat more.
I was unhappy with my weight and now I'm a skinny freak and it doesn't look good. It really fucks up your digestion and you're hurting yourself by doing this.

Erm, he should be exercising but following a tailor made program that a gym person makes up for him.

More bulk = Protein and weights.

Cardio wont do much for you before the weights but is essential after you get some bulk up.
