Why do you cheat?

I know people who get a new game and go online to search for cheat codes before even playing the game. Seems like a waste of a good game to me if you are going to pay out money for something and then suck the fun out of it by using a 100% Game completed or Invincibility Cheat.

If you cheat on games, let me know why.

I cheat.

I really suck at games. Really suck. I've played them all a million times and can't get any better, so I cheat. It helps me beat the game, and helps me figure out how to beat the game without the cheats.

I do but only if I REALLY cannot do the game and i tried as much as possible to figure out how. Usually I try my best not to :p

yuck i hate cheating as much as you do. i dont care how hard a game is ill work through (try playing the hellcat mission in Jak 2 and then talk to me about patience) but i will cheat AFTER AND ONLY AFTER i beat the game. to me its a cinematic thing to play a game.

if i use a cheat, its like on the sims, where you get that infinite money thing. i do it so i can build a rich family and a posh house and stuff, then i can have a load of them that have to work for their money :P
also, if i want to build a house on the sims, its annoying when you get to the last bit and they have no money for anything else. grr.
but apart from that, i dont use cheats.

It depends what the game is
If its a gta theres no way id use cheats until i beat it since i dont want 2 wreck the game but then if it is a car game and i need money to buy a better car i would consider cheating
