I agree with FOB selling out. Their first album was great...but once all the teeny boppers got their hands on it I was pretty much done. Panic! really haven't gotten that big here yet, but they're well on their way.

Go and see them live if you like them because they put on an excellent show, sound better than they do on the CD and get all sweaty. ;) But yeah so in conclusion, love them.
But the new band old band rivalry...we have to give new bands a chance because otherwise we'll have the same songs over and over forever more without any new songs and then we'll get bored! :p so give 'em a chance.

When I first heard Panic! At the Disco, I disliked the band with a passion, but I suppose they grew on me, seeing as they're now one of my favourite bands. But they'd more of fit under Pop/Punk, and a lot of their songs are a little too similar. Also, the whole, "I am a testosterone-filled teenage boy who fxcks better than anyone else," gets a little dull after a while. :-\
