pendulum got me into drum and bass, but nowadays they are pretty shite.. alot of their old stuff is good like from hold your colour and even previous to that.. but apart from other side (which still isnt that good compared to older stuff) they are pretty crappy

what i hate is people who say theyre into drum and bass because they like pendulum.. all pendulum are, are a gateway to the culter that is drum and bass, jungle and liquid.. whereas pendulum are more rocky pop/dance these days

granted pendulum where my starting point like many others, but ive discovered so many better artist exploring the world of DnB than pendulum and comparing them, pendulum are just tiny and minute, theyre just popular coz there are alot of people out there who like them to be cool, drum and bass, much like dubstep and niche to a certain extent are mainly underground, the best stuff is always the hardest to get hold of, shudnt just be able to walk into a shop and get it.. defeats the object of it
