I just don't think it's really necessary to have such a fancy message telling you that you have received a message on here. Thats just me. Then again I have email notifications turned off anyway.

It will be used for all emails. Replies to your threads etc..
This is just the format for new messages.

The design is great; it'd be perfect if it was available in text too... gmail on my mobile doesn't handle html emails so well.
