Ideas?
Writing an entire musical is a big task. Generally I assume one would write a story board and then proceed as you would with a play, although using music in place of dialogue in some parts.
You have to have actions to go with scenes. The main strength of musicals is that the music amplifies the emotion of a particular sequence.
Good luck, though. It's an ambitious project.

thats all true but then again if your really looking to making a really good musical then you should learn some theory where you learn harmony and transposition and all that stuff but good luck on that :) but it is a ambitious project to work on.
