It was banned in Australia but not the UK, personally i thought it was crap anyway and the graphics are now considerably dated. God knows how, but Uwe Boll (a really shitty film director) is making a film about it (this is the guy who brought us 'masterpieces' such as the House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark movies...in case you cant tell im being sarcastic)
Werent all the PS2 Grand Theft Auto games banned in Australia too?

Yeah, we can still play it, Manhunt was never banned really. It was actually found out later that after that murder a few years ago it was the VICTIM not the killer who had the game, so it actually had no relevance on the case at all, hence the fact that it never got banned. It was just the media trying to make a fuss and get violent games banned.

postal 2 was a bit crappy rly, as said, the graphics are now a bit old...not to mention the game being ridiculously repetitive. i have to say i loved the first one with its senseless violence, cartoony graphics, and not to mention the way people crawled around screaming for help before actually dying, postal 1: simple, fun. postal 2: better graphics...lacking gameplay.

Bare in mind though that this article is written under the false impression that it was the killer who had the game, when infact it was the victim. The game isnt actually that good really, its like GTA with the story taken out and more violent deaths, your not really missing out. My cousin lent it to me after he got bored with it...then i got bored of it and he sold it.
Games like 'Condemned' which i just bought for my PC does the "beating-the-shit-out-of-people" thing much better.
