One of my guilty pleasures.

But honestly they do write some fucking great music.

There album 'Where you want to be' is my favourite, it has some great songs on it.
My most played song ever is on that album.

Any opinions on the band?

Must admit, I've never heard of them.
I'll go listen for a few days then report back with my god honest opinion. :)

I love Taking Back Sunday, and I don't think its a guilty pleasure, I will freely admit it. They write some amazing lyrics in terms of being able to relate to them.

Bike Scene is my favourite song by them for that reason, I went through a few months, where that song couldn't have been more true for me.

Louder Now is my favourite album though, although I have all four of them. And Wikipedia informs me there's gonna be a new one in 2009, good times.

I didn't think louder now had much soul to it, sort of like they became a parody of themselves.

EDIT: FROM JON

Yeah I can see what you mean. I think I said it was my favourite because the songs tend to be more catchy and therefore more memorable I guess.

I'm listening to Tell All Your Friends at the moment as a result of this thread.

It's alright. Sounds a little dull though. I prefer their other songs.
