similar to 'computer tip of the day', add to the list of keyboard shortcuts in XP, explaining briefly what they do (also specify if it's for a particular (common) program like IE):
note, some may seems very simple and obvious, but please add you own...
WIN + E = opens 'my computer' (explore 'my computer')
WIN + D = show desktop (minimises all open windows)
ALT + TAB = switch between open programs (hold ALT and continue to press TAB to switch through more programs, SHIFT reverses)
ALT + ESC = switch between open programs (sends current window to back of que rather than second)
ALT + F4 = closes current open window (the one window on top)
CTRL + ESC = same as prssing WIN (incase it's broken lol)
IE: CTRL + ENTER = adds 'http://www (http://www/).' to start of address bar entry and '.com' to end (for example, type in 'teenageforums' then hold CTRL and hit enter, it will fill in the rest (only for http and .com, not https, .co.uk etc - it does not fill in correct address, always http and .com))
^^^ THAT WAS THE LAST THING I COPIED LOL ^^^
yes, an entire thread. i started writing it hours ago, went to do something for a few hours, then came back and finished it, and i copied the content incase i lost it when submitting, it does that sometimes if youve been inactive for so long. not often on here though, TF is pretty good for that. i did lose a thread yesterday though lol. r8 annoying having to rewrite something, the original always sounded better lol

The Final Design Concept Statement:
To be able to reflect the Directorial Concept into the costume design the main ideas used to structure the Directorial Concept must also be used to structure the Design Concept, which will also influence the costume design. The ideas of the Directorial Concept are: Arthur and Maggie Beare’s clashing intentions, personality, their comical relationship and the medium budget that will be used to reproduce Mother and Son. With this also comes in their age and sex that will also influence their costuming.
There was more to that but I got rid of it lol.
For my Drama assignment.

As a mod i have noticed that you have so many arcade titles but so little posts!
It is not fair on the regular posters that you've got so many high scores but never posts, so please start to post or we will have to take off all your high scores and disable your access to the arcade
Cheers for ya time

It's a simple matter of wrapping a table arround the template.
put this in your header part:
Quote:
<table width="YOURWIDTH" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td background="YOURIMAGE" width="WIDTH.OF.THE.IMAGE"> </td>
<td width="100%">
and put this in the footer part.
Quote:
</td>
<td background="YOURWIDTH" width="WIDTH.OF.THE.IMAGE">&nsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>
i hope this helped.

Fructose, or levulose, is a levorotatory monosaccharide and an isomer of glucose (C6H12O6). Pure fructose has a sweet taste similar to cane sugar, but with a "fruity" aroma. Although fructose is a hexose (6 carbon sugar), it generally exists as a 5-member hemiketal ring (a furanose). This structure is responsible for the long metabolic pathway and high reactivity compared to glucose.
The first -OH points the opposite way from the second and third -OH.

The idea of hard news embodies two orthogonal concepts:
Seriousness: Politics, economics, crime, war, and disasters are considered serious topics, as are certain aspects of law, science, and technology.
Timeliness: Stories that cover current events—the progress of a war, the results of a vote, the breaking out of a fire, a significant public statement, the freeing of a prisoner, an economic report of note.The logical opposite, soft news is sometimes referred to in a derogatory fashion as infotainment. Defining features catching the most criticism include:
The least serious subjects: Arts and entertainment, sports, lifestyles, "human interest", and celebrities.
Not timely: There is no precipitating event triggering the story, other than a reporter's curiosity.

Life shows tremendous diversity. Many millions of species (javascript:MM_openBrWindow('http://www.wadsworth.com/cgi-wadsworth/course_products_wp.pl?fid=M48&glossary_id=209956','glossary','menubar=no,status= yes,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,width=300,height=2 00')) exist; many more lived in the past. Each is unique in some aspects of its body plan, function, and behavior. We group species that are related by descent from a common ancestor. A current classification system puts species in three domains: archaea (javascript:MM_openBrWindow('http://www.wadsworth.com/cgi-wadsworth/course_products_wp.pl?fid=M48&glossary_id=209138','glossary','menubar=no,status= yes,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,width=300,height=2 00')), bacteria (javascript:MM_openBrWindow('http://www.wadsworth.com/cgi-wadsworth/course_products_wp.pl?fid=M48&glossary_id=209164','glossary','menubar=no,status= yes,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,width=300,height=2 00')), and eukarya (javascript:MM_openBrWindow('http://www.wadsworth.com/cgi-wadsworth/course_products_wp.pl?fid=M48&glossary_id=209424','glossary','menubar=no,status= yes,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,width=300,height=2 00')). Example 1: The Role of Women in the Crusades This essay will explore the historiography surrounding the role that women played in the Crusades. How do we respond to the image portrayed by Islamic writers that women directly participated in battle – donning armour and even fighting on horseback? I intend to examine how and why Muslim and Christian chroniclers have portrayed incidents where women participated in battle. This will shed light on the different agendas that have affected how the Crusades and their participants have been recorded throughout time. Furthermore, the historical representation of other women crusaders, particularly prostitutes will also be explored. This will call into question the idea that powerful women in the Crusader states were the only true female crusaders.
Example 2: The Implementation of the 1834 New Poor Law
The Essay will involve an analysis of the historiography surrounding the implementation of the 1834 New Poor Law and the much debated issues connected with this. Within this three key areas will be explored. The first will be the contemporary and subsequently modem debate on the role of the community and the level of its involvement in helping those in need. The second will look at the debate on how implementation took place and how historians have used various approaches, such as institutional, administrative and legalistic, to assess this issue. The final area for consideration will be on how successfully it took place in different regions and the varying historical opinions surrounding this argument.

Slide 8 .O {font-size:149%;} •The Koran tells people to care for the sick - better ways were found to do so.
•
•One of the ‘Five Pillars of Islam’ was the giving of alms to the poor. Many Islamic rulers built hospitals and provided free medical treatment.
•
•Mohammed ordered Muslims to wash before prayer. Muslims pray five time a day, so this was an important factor in cleanliness.
•
•All of the major Islamic cities, such as Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo and Cordoba, contained many hospitals.

•Muslims collected the medical writings of the Greeks and Romans, and (unlike the monasteries in Europe) they used them and improved them.

Generally speaking, private law is the area of law in a society that affects the relationships between individuals or groups without the intervention of the state or government. In many cases the public/private law distinction is confounded by laws that regulate private relations while having been passed by legislative enactment. In some cases these public statutes are known as laws of public order, as private individuals do not have the right to break them and any attempt to circumvent such laws is void as against public policy.

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If You want me to, I will
For If I ever say you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same
Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart
And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so i can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
Oh, you kknow I will

This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the U.S. Department of Energy.
I then took a shower in the clean water provided by a municipal water utility.
After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC-regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like, using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
I watched this while eating my breakfast of U.S. Department of Agriculture-inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
At the appropriate time, as regulated by the U.S. Congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the U.S. Naval Observatory, I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration-approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal Departments of Transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level
determined by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve Bank.
>> Anonymous 10/22/09(Thu)15:03:41 No.169415027
On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the U.S. Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.
After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health administration, enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and Fire Marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all its
valuables thanks to the local police department.
And then I log on to the internet -- which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration -- and post on 420chan about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

Let's look at the structure of the header first, we want to be as minimal as possible, but still have enough for a production site. The header information we will use is:
<?php defined( '_VALID_MOS' ) or die( 'Direct Access to this location is not allowed.' ); ?
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="<?php echo _LANGUAGE; ?
<head
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; <?php echo _ISO; ?
<?php
if ($my-
<?php mosShowHead(); ?
<script type="text/javascript"
<!--http://www.bluerobot.com/web/css/fouc.asp--
<link href="/templates/<?php echo $cur_template; ?
</head
What does all that mean?
<?php defined( '_VALID_MOS' ) or die( 'Direct Access to this location is not allowed.' ); ?
Makes sure that the file isn't being accessed directly.
<?php defined( '_VALID_MOS' ) or die( 'Direct Access to this location is not allowed.' ); ?
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="<?php echo _LANGUAGE; ?
<head
We talked about this above. The "<?php echo _LANGUAGE; ?
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; <?php echo _ISO; ?
What character set we are using, _ISO is a special constant defining the character set encoding to use.
<?php if ($my-
This is a script variable that is non-zero if a user is logged in to your site. If a user is logged in then the nominated WYSIWYG Editor is pre-loaded. You may, if you wish, always pre-load the Editor, but generally an anonymous visitor will not have the need to add content. This saves a little script overhead for normal browsing of your site.
<?php mosShowHead(); ?
Header stuff that is set in the global configuration again. It includes the following tags (in a default installation):
<title
<meta name="description" content="Installing Joomla, doctype and the blank joomla template" /
<meta name="keywords" content="installing joomla, joomla doctype, blank joomla tempate" /
<meta name="Generator" content="Joomla! - Copyright (C) 2005 Open Source Matters. All rights reserved." /
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" /
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/images/favicon.ico" /
<script type="text/javascript"
To stop a bug, that being a flash of un-styled content. Details courtesy of Blue Robot. Note this can be any script file, so if we add one, we can remove this line.
<link href="/templates/<?php echo $cur_template; ?
This line links to the CSS file for the template. The PHP code <?php echo $cur_template; ? will return the name of the current template. This makes this line "portable". When you create a new template you can jsut copy it (along with the whole head code) and not worry about editing anything.
As you will see later, in the temmplate_css.css file, we will use @import as a way to stop the site breaking with Netscape 4. Users of very old browsers won't be able to get the CSS sheet so will see our neat un styled content. If you wanted to cater to these older browsers, we would have too many CSS hacks, so we do this.

tes of the previous block. (In a moment, we'll come back to the issue of what happens with the first block, where there's no previous encrypted block.) Notice that in this mode, every block depends on the previous block, so we cannot parallelise the encryption. At present, few people implement multithreaded encryption, but in the future, it is likely to become a more common requirement.
"Stream cipher" modes
Some other common block modes effectively work turning the block cipher into a stream cipher1. A stream cipher works by generating a sequence of random bytes, and then XORing the message with that random sequence. At first, it sounds surprising that this is secure. But it is completely secure provided that the sequence is "truly" random. (Of course, the output from a block cipher is not "truly" random. But a secure cipher is designed so that its output compared to input appears so random that we can't tell the difference.) So instead of using our block cipher to directly encrypt the data, we actually use it as a random number generator, then simply XOR the plaintext with this random sequence.
The security of stream cipher modes is highly dependent on not ever re-using the same random sequence.
We will call the sequence of random bytes the key stream.

We know that its ages away but thought that it would give everyone chance to get organised and it can be a mini celebration of my birth.
The theme we have chosen is that girls HAVE to wear dresses and guys HAVE to wear shirts and ties. Failure to do so will end up with you taking a double shot whenever we move on!!
Also as a birthday rule every time we move on you have to either take a shot or forfit someone to take one!
PM me if you're coming or not! :)
