Has anyone seen it?

Absolutely amazing film, and very deserving of all its Baftas. All three of the main characters at all three of the stages were brilliantly acted, including the smallest children.

Its really honest, and you can't help but be drawn in. The portrayal of India is breathtaking, the story incredible and the emotional rollercoaster fantastic. I honestly laughed, cried and sat there with my hands held up to my mouth begging the right thing to happen.

It also have an amazing soundtrack!

Wonderful film, some great acting. Brilliant film concept.

Shame about the street kids in it being underpaid though.

AMAZING film. I thought that the quality was amazing, the story breathtaking, the actors and characters are SO well interpreted and acted out and OMG, I stayed in my seat 15 minutes after the film was over, talking about it with my friend.

Very pleasantly surprised by this film.
If sunshine, trainspotting and 24 days later wasn't enough, then this will definitely secure Danny Boyle's place as a great british director.

I just watched Sunshine the other Night actually. Didn't rate the first half it it but the ending was amazing.
I don't quite get what happened right at the very end though, where he's brushing the Sun with his hands. :|

Yeah mint ending makes up for the slowish start.
And I think he was just 'basking' in the beauty of it, he realized he was going to die like everyone else had, so he was just enjoying the fact he had saved the world and how pretty the fusion reaction was.

So that part isn't supposed to be realistic then? :P

Well noone knows what a massive fusion reaction like that looks like up close so could be.

But I remember reading that they would in real life need about 1000X more mass and for it to be even denser for them to create a mini star. It's all on IMDB I think.

Yeah well it is just a Film. I mean, how would they even get that sort of mass from Earth to begin with?

haha, then the tides would disappear and all plant life on the earth would start to die.
