yeah...i was looking for an athletics thread....but there wasnt one so uh...i made one.

i do the Decathlon *waves*

i used to do javlin long jump discus n that other throwing one *thinks*
only at school when i was younger though, i was reallt goo at the long at triple jump to say im really small.

Yeah, its like lots of different track and field events put into a competition where you get points for each event, and the person with the most points at the end wins. Man I hope I haven't got this mixed up with something else, that'd be embarrassing!

well its ten events over two days. i cant remember what order they go in (ive never actually done one in a competition, just been training for the last 5/6 years) but heres the ten events, ill get the order as close as i can remmeber.

Day1:
100m
Long Jump
Shot Putt (the one i believe Kaye was talkin about?)
High Jump
400m

Day2:
110m Hurdles
Discus
Pole Vault
Javelin
1500m (why the fuck did they put that in??? and last especially!)

I can do long distance alright but I'm better at short because I can sprint.

Track (school competition-wise)
Baseball (school competition-wise)
Volleyball
Football (school competition-wise)
Tennis
And I'm soon going to sign up for the school wrestling team. It's just going to be uncomfortable being one of the few girls on the team. GIRL POWER!! lol.

ahhhh sweeet! i had my first tournament of the year today...and after a year of not training and just drinking and smoking weed loads etc....i did rly well...improved in some aspect which according to science...is not right. but still...feeeling knackered...but extremely good :D endorphines yay!

i do long distance running 1500m ect and long and high jump. but i havent been doing running or even keeping fit . i had a game of basket ball today i had lost all my puff striaght a way when normaly i could last a full game that is played properly. i really need to get back into shape.
