Who else is starting college this summer/fall? I am and I am pretty excited w00t! I wonder how the transition will go from high school to college, but I am sure it won't be too hard to get adjusted to the social life. Who's going laptop shopping? I wonder if it's worth getting a mac, but I also want to play some games such as wow occasionally...

I'll be starting Uni again if I'm not careful! I procrastinate way too much which is terrible considering I only have 7 hours of lectures a week and a lot of the time I don't even make it to all of them :| such a waste of money & time...

yeah, If I stay conscious through a whole lecture its an accomplishment. I'm hoping that having all my classes be computer related will help me stay awake XD

Two hour seminars with only 10 people in the room and where the students are meant to do most the talking are a killer, no chance you can fall asleep without anyone noticing. And you feel bad if you don't contribute!

now that my eyes have stopped bleeding.
1. "pwn" is not an acceptable spelling of "own" when it references ownership.
2. Use a normal font ffs.

I started college back in August. I was sort of anxious like you in the beginning but really it's not that back. In the first couple weeks you'll shake hands with hundreds of people and it'll seem like all you'll ever hear or say is "Hi, my name is __ and I'm from __ and my major is __" but you'll settle in pretty quickly. Once you get a few friends then the transition will be really easy - it's just the first couple weeks that are kind of nerve wracking. And once classes start, you'll settle into a routine and that'll be that.
The thing about social life in college is that it's almost the same as academic life. In high school you would come back from school every day and then hang out with friends, so social and academic are pretty separate but here in college you live with your friends and go to school with your friends so there really isn't that line anymore. But it's cool. Personally I thought it was a little harder to make friends in college than high school but you'll manage
