Ive thought about this before. even when i was about 13, when Sarah had Bethany on corra lol. My mum said she would stand by me even if i was only young.
You have just got to think things through and don't leave it too late, as if she has an abortion at a late stage, well any stage really, but worse at a later stage meaning she might not be able to have kids.

well look, ill be totally honest now and this is te first time ive mentioned this to anyone, but i have a very god reason to believe im in the same boat. what you need to do is sit down with her and talk about it properly. you do realise that having a child this soon on in life is pretty much going to ruin what childhood you have left. your 18 so im guessing you go out in the town...looking at the older people, you wouldnt be able to do that. the fun stops, the stress starts, then you have to start paying for it too. by all means people do get by, but in my opinion its a bad thing to have em so young. having said that, the reason you need to talk to her is because its still your responsibility, as you need to keep on top of these things, you should have insisted she get the emergency contraceptive the next day, not left it and hoped for the best. basically ive told my girlfriend that everythings gonna be ok and weve agreed now isnt the time. you need to reassure her that you are gonna be there for her, but that you dont want it (thats assuming you dont) if you can come to the agreement to teerminate at least its not too late for the 10 week abortion which is a pill as opposed to a small operation. so its less traumatic for her. but you need to express to her that she may very well be ruining both of your young lives by keeping it. I hope eveything works out for the best though, good luck.

This may sound cold, but you've got to ask yourself, wheres the sense in ruining two lives to save one? (especially an unborn life, which technically isnt actually alive until about 20 weeks into the pregnancy).

On the other hand, you could have a great life if you were willing to be there for the mother and the child. It would be tough, I know, but you could make it. It's all about your will power. Whether you're strong enough to go through with it and what is your main priority. Having a family with the one you love or going out getting drunk down the pub with your mates.
