What's everyone's opinions on Hip-Hop & Rap? Me personally, I love it and it sucks to see real artists with real lyrics (nothing about bitches and ho's rolling around in money giving head) not getting any publicity.

I'm sure if the real stuff was played, a lot more people would like it, I said in another thread, once you get past all the bullshit of 50 Cent, Soulja Boy etc, you can see the real hip-hop and see why it really is an amazing genre of music.

These are two of my favourite songs by two real artists, if you like them, I can post more up :)

If you're looking for somthing a bit more brutal I'd suggest Jedi Mind Tricks, the only way I'd describe their music is 'music for making plastic explosives to.'

i like stuff made pre 2000.

stuff since then on the whole has been poor.

there are some deviations from that however, like T.I.

Dizzee Rascal's boy in da corner is a great grime rap album, can't speak for much else though as I don't listen to all that much rap/hip-hop.
