What are your 5 feel good songs and why are they?
:)
Ive got a few:
Can't Stand Me Now - The Libertines
Its just one of those songs that everyone loves and reminds me of back in the day with my friends.
Teen Age Riot - Sonic Youth
Just like this song and just makes me happy for some reason.
This Charming Man - The Smiths
One of my faves since I was a little girl, partly because I love The Smiths, but also my granddad used to sing it to me :)
Banquet - Bloc Party
Reminds me of Leeds last year and i love it when everyone sings it at partys.
I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor - Arctic Monkeys
CHOOOOON! Remember bumming of it when it came out haha
Now you do it :) Remember no more than 5!

I am the Resurrection - Stone Roses
When I feel hard done by, or have just been hanging out with cunts then this is a song to cheer yourself up with.
A-Punk - Vampire Weekend
Always used to cheer me up, I'm a bit sick of it now though.
I'm Alright me - The Cribs
Makes me smile, love the repeated lyrics at the end even if it is ironic.
Frankly Mr. Shankly - The Smiths
Just a really tongue-in-cheek tune, puts a smile on my face.
Please Don't - The Courteeners
There whole album is quite cheery, for me a good cheer up song is one that's like fuck you I don't need you nobs, not dance around and be happy, happy.
Shouldn't have done this list in a bad mood, but there the songs I can think of. Although unfortunatly I listen to music more when I'm miserable rather then happy, which seems a lot of the time lately.

Complicated - Avril Lavigne
I went to summer camp when this first came out, it was played constantly on some cheap speakers a kid brought. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of that camp :D
American Girls - Counting Crows
Anything by this band in general, but this song is one of their happiest. Always reminds me of one of my closest friends (who I met at the summer camp lol).
One Great City - The Weakerthans
"I hate winnipeg" lmfao makes me laugh everytime.
New Coat Of Paint - Tom Waits
I had a boss who was a total Tom Waits fan, lent me a bunch of his albums to listen to, and then left his collection at the store for us to put on. This album was by far my favourite, before his voice got all scratchy.
Raw Power - Iggy and the Stooges
I love Iggy Pop. period :D

Metrostation - Shake it.
Maybe not cool, but I do NOT care, I can't stop dancing.
The Killers - Mr. Brightside.
What a tuuuuune. Again too many good memories.
Feeder - Buck Rogers
<3
Wow, what a predictable looking list.

Mine's probably a bit of a weird list really.
1. Cotton Eyed Joe- Rednex
I listen to it after exams like some sort of ritual, it's just one of those songs that can't fail to make me laugh and take life less seriously because it's so ridiculous and is always played at parties.
2. Bite to Break Skin- Senses Fail
Whilst this is nowhere near the typical feel good song, it now does make me feel really good. It sort of fires me up with adrenaline for some reason, and I listened to it on the way to my UCL interview so it sort of makes me think of my success with that.
3. Breakfast at Tiffany's- Deep Blue Something
I love this song. I think everyone does. It's just so cheerful, and reminds me of when my friend played it at Lourdes last year in the party the night before we left.
4. Generator - The Holloways
It's just such a cheerful song, and reminds me of the coach ride to devon last year.
5. Wake me up before you Go-go - Wham!
Need I say more? :P
