The short of it is that I LOVE to run. I'm not in track (yet :P ) but I have been in soccer and I am always the first gal to finish the mile.
Well, the girls on my team were talking about the diet you are supposed to have if you are physically fit. {Don't ask me what they said you CAN eat, all I heard were the restraints].
This sounded a little dumb to me.
I eat healthy (and unhealthy at times :P ) but I never thought to hold back! I'm not exactly the kind of girl who watches her weight either. I weigh 104 and I my dad calls me a string bean.
I guess my question is... Do I have to?

I thought athletes had to eat more to keep up general body weight and strength

but what do i know? I don't even run for the bus...

Yeah...I'm pretty sure you have to eat more carbs and protines since you burn so much off.

Don't listen to those girls...they don't really know what they're talking about. If you go to run on an empty stomache, you'll regret it. You'll either pass out/puke or you'll be super slow and tired.

Yeah, being an athlete my self, you actually need to eat more than a average person. The moe carbs and starchs you can get into your sytem, the better.

Good friend of mine is a pro boxer and he eats a lot, but he doesn't eat crap.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing.
