I type lol a lot and don't actually laugh. It's a bad habit actually.

Sometimes, I do burst out laughing though, then the parents think I'm proper weird. Hehe.

I put it into almost all of my sentences on msn, but i do smile.
And i'll smile and laugh at anything...

Yeah. It usually makes me smile or slightly giggle or just giggle inside, then I write it.

Or if I'm fed up of talking to someone and they've just said something really stupid, I would just use lol to humour them

i only laugh out loud when something is actually REALLY FUNNY, or catches me off-guard. normally i just write LOL, sometimes i just raise a smile.

Yeah i think most people just write "lol" for habit, i used to say it alllll the time, but i think im getting out of that habbit, instead i type "hehe"
i do still use lol, but never laugh..maybe smile or just say it purely out of habbit.

I dont say lol. I refuse.
I say "I lol'd" or "rofl" or "XD" or something when something IS amusing. If not, I find something better to say. Lol kills conversations :(
