My uncle died, help me :(

My uncle jamile just died, I'm having trouble dealing with it. If you have any advice on dealing with this, I'd love to hear it, because I'm feeling sad, angry, and confused all at once....

He died of cancer... we were close. He was a really funny man. Strange thing was, a long time ago, when he was actually speaking about a eulogy for himself, he wanted us to add something funny like "He sure did love turkey," but I don't find him dying very funny...

well i know wot ur going through, it was my lil nephew.
i think you need to talk about it or write it all down in a diary or something, its not gd for you to keep it all in side trust me on that. im sure youll find a way of dealing with it tho every1 is different.

Thank-you, I'll keep those ideas in mind. He's the kind of person that wouldn't want people to mourn for him, but it's so hard not to. I'll try not to cry for him...:sadangel:

When my grandma died, I cried for a whole weekend, I just couldn't comprehend. It was pretty sudden, and I was so close to her. I still cry now if I think about it and talk about her.

But yeah, just do whatever you feel is right, because no one can tell you how to behave or react when you lose someone, it's a personal thing.

For me, it's pretty much bottling it up, and writing. I wrote a whole blog on my emotions, which was quite a relief. But it's also good to look back, and read those finer details of how I felt, which i would otherwise have just forgotten about.

Just react how you want to.
