i was at this lasses house the other day and shes a got simese cat, but its a hairy one, and we we're laying on her bed and then all of a sudden it jumped up on the bed and i wasnt expecting it! i shit myself, and cos i jumped, i made the cat jump lol. I pretty much despise cats. They are sly and unloyal. I mean, they go 'home' for 10 minutes a day expecting food, then off they go and crap and piss on everyone elses lawns and gardens. Their owners don't seem to give a crap that their pet could easily kill someone elses while they're out. And they don't know what their cat is upto.

And I personally don't see the point in having a pet that you get nothing back from. A dog, yeah, they are loyal and will stay with their owner for human companionship, but I wouldn't like a pet who buggered off all the time and would happily be taken into someone elses home when they find something they like better.

You just don't get the .. love ..back from a cat.

one of our family friends tina, has a dozen odd cats - theyre all really quite nasty and dont want any human contact - theyre never at home and only come home, like you guys said, to eat and shit in her house - they are not toilet trained and really quite feral.

we got 2 kittens off her and since we've had them, theyve learnt that furniture and kitchen benches are not to be climbed on, mice are to be caught, bedtime is at night, they respond to their names, never wander too far from home[on a 16acre property - where are they going to go] these cats love human contact and will follow us on walks -they are cat/dogs which makes life interesting. one of the cats will even lick up its own drool LOL

my theory is, cats grow up to be b*tchy if you let them do as they want. if you teach them some rules and make sure you are consistant, you can train them and they can be wonderful pets. atleast thats been the case with my kittens - now cats

yeah well of course, its like with a kid, if you swear around a baby its obvious its going to pick it up and swear its head off at the age of 6 but if you teac h it some manners and tell them what to do and where to go to the toilet, when to sleep, how to speak and eat then you know its gonna ggrow up to act sensibly, itslike with a cat, if you bring it up with rules and regulations then its obviously going to follow them and become a nice friendly cat:) its all in the responsibility of the owner

I am a great cat lover, I JUST LOVE THEM! Alot of my friends say how cat like i am myself and i guess that to really like cats you have to understand them, which i do, the way a cat looks at you can tell you what the cat thinks of you, if a cat looks at you with wide eyes and dosnt blink then it HATES you or just dosnt know you very well, if it has its eyes narrow then it likes you, to get cats to like you, you must first start of by "saying" that you are not going to hurt it, you can do this by yawning and squinting alot, yawning is a relaxed sign.

Cats are great when you get to know them, but some people are just "dog" people lol! :) :) :)

thers onli ever been 2 cats i ever liked!
one when i was growing up. she belonged to 2 ov my best m8s. n was sweet when she was old. unfortunately she died.
now the onli cat i like is my cousins. she is clean n doesnt mess anything up or smell.
shes old now though!

LOVE CATS!!!!!!

Thats sweet. Yeah..it all depends on the owner. Some cats are really fierce towards humans because they might have a bad experience with us before. Maybe...these cats have been beaten by humans so they lost trust in us. So, whenever they see us, they either run away or attack. The good cats are the ones who have kind owners.:)

I hate cats, sure theyre clean in the house but thats cos theyre never there, why do you want to pay to see an animal once a day so you can feed it????
