I bought Seasons 5 & 6 on DVD recently and you actually start to pick up on the more adult jokes that you wouldnt 'get' when you were younger than 14. One of the episodes from S5 where Homer gets drunk while teaching Bart about women had me in tears of laughter, lol.

*Bart asks homer about women*
"You see son, women are a lot like beer, you take one and you drink it.........but you cant stop at one! you have to drink another woman! and another!"
*several beers later, and increasingly slurred speech*
"So anyway...you make me wanna wretch!"

Well...i found it funny anyway.

Theres a few 'adult' jokes. But south park is so funny. Potentially very offensive, but absolutely brilliant. The special Olyimpics episode had me in tears.

the new episodes are getting a bit shit, but the classics are immense.

they're running out of ideas, yeh. futurama is my favourite at the moment, though. similar style, different situation. all the stuff that relates to modern day technology and the internet, well funny. love it.

Theres also an episode when they all turn into like Japanese Aname ( i dont no if thats right word or even how you spell it, like cartoon characters) that 1s hillarious 2.

I said South Park only because The Simpsons have overstayed their welcome on the air and episodes in the past few seasons of the series have been a bit underwhelming, and are essentially on par with the first two or three mediocre seasons. Conversely, while this past season of South Park was somewhat of a let down, in recent seasons its developed from a bathroom humor joke show (which it pulled off quite nicely) to a well developed, politically-satirically rich show that's on par with the Simpsons at its peak.

South park is way funnier than the simpsons, all the timmy episodes, the michael jackson episode, the big gay al episodes, lol the anime warriors one, the mr hanky episodes, the rainforest episode, the jesus episodes, i dn't know how they get away with taking the piss out of everything but south park makes the simpsons seem dull, but don't get me wrong i do love the simpsons, but south park is just better

I'm biast, though. I live about an hour from South Park...but I think the show is so fucking funny. The new ones are so bad...like tonight they had Towlie come on and write a book..He went on Opera and Opera's vagina plotted to get Opera fired...it was so...bad...haha.

The scientology ones took it to a new level...and now that Chef's gone the show's gotten progressively worse and worse in a moral sense, but I love it.
