Though it may not feel like it, it is definitely approaching, and it is definitely on my mind. Three months of school left!

I get bored of summer about a month in, honestly. It gets really hot here so all I do is hide inside my house all day and go out in the evening when it's cooler. Unless I'm playing softball.

I want to hang out a lot more than I did last year, though. And go to one of the many lakes in my area. Oh, and I'm most likely going to go look for my first job, preferably an easy retail job.

Anyway, what are your goals/plans/hopes for summer twenty-ten? What do you like/dislike about summer?

I have a ton of traveling planned from July to September. However, I'm going to be complaining about the heat since I'm going to places that are all really hot; California, Florida, Montana, Louisianna and maybe Georgia. I might be working in California and Montana for a while, but I'm not sure.

I seriously hate the sun and heat. I don't tan, I burn to a crisp and get funky discoloration.

working at some menial job, hopefully scoring a few new web design jobs, and working on my latest scheme (namely re-creating pokemon red in Java, but fixing all the parts that they fucked up on).

As you know, I hate the heat as well but at least I don't burn haha.

I need to renew my Six Flags season pass!

Gonna learn some bocking tricks and spend a hell-of-a-lotta time at the lake. Also could be moving.

Well I will work the whole summer. Just have some weeks free in September.
Anyway I will spent my free days at the pool, swimming, Beach-Volleyball, a few good partys and barbecues. Hopefully it will be hot enough, my area isn't really sun kissed.

I absolutely LOVE summer! Makes me smiley :]

During summer, i'm going on a girly holiday to Turkey, Download Festival, then there's a few friends birthdays coming up, so no doubt a few party's and nights down town. And usually every summer i go on day trips with people. Like we'll catch a train to Cleethorpes or somewhere. And then the usual shopping trips and hanging around town and stuff :)

Other than that i'll just be lazing around subathing lots!

:D

My birthday is on July 4th, I think we're going to Santa Cruz to chill at the boardwalk and watch fireworks/bonfires on the beach. I'm excited.

Warm is nice. 86+ and I start drifting to air conditioned areas. In late summer it's usually 95 to 100+ every day, and last year there were a few weeks in the 90s well into September. The only time it doesn't bother me is when I'm playing softball because I concentrate on the game instead of my comfort.

BBQs, road trips, scantily clad women, a few beers next to the lochs here in Scotland. Maybe a bit of skinny dipping. That old chestnut.

However, Scotland will probably look like this, lol

As Frankie Boyle would put it, it's gonna be like playing pass the parcel getting the clothes off.

Is anyone going on holiday in the UK this year with just their group of mates? Any suggestions on where to stay?

exactly what i do the rest year except wearing slightly less layers.

my life in winter/autumn/spring:

college/homework/internet/food/work out/rugby/5 layersof clothing/sleep

my life in the summer:

college/homework(while college is on obvs)/more food/interet/work out/sleep

possibly the odd party scattered in here and there but i generally decline most invitations to go out

Maybe if I get into shape in time for summer I'll actually wear a bathing suit this year and go tanning and swimming cause I finally have access to a pool. If not, I'll be in jeans looking pale as a ghost, like usual.
Other than that, I'll be working (inside, thank goodness), being on the back of my boyfriend's bike or on my own if I have enough money, getting more tattoos, enjoying having a convertible, spending time with my dog, and wishing for snow to come back (of course).

I'll probably be done with college by the end of this summer yo, I don't have that many classes during the summer break anyway so I'm just gonna relax and enjoy things as they come during the precious moments I have away from work and the final classes I've got

While I don't have a season pass to Six Flags like Gab does (I'm jealous!), I'll probably spend a few days there throughout the summer.

Mostly I'll just be trying to stay cool, I hate the heat. No a/c in my house + my bedroom getting sun on two walls in the afternoon + being the only room in the house with a flat roof = it gets hot back here.

Six Flags is about 15 minutes away, a pass is $50 and a normal day ticket is $30. It pays for itself. ^___^

Masturbate ambidextrously while laying flat on the bench, focussing all the force into your shoulders. Instant back building with awesome post-workout orgasm/ slightly less desirable source of protein. You can alter the position and leverage depending on which muscle group you want to hit and integrate it into the winter/summer/spring season, if you wanted.

You sound like as chilled back as a turtle stampeding through peanut butter. I'm imagining you just spread out like vomit on your bed panting like a herd of Bison in the Savanna, desperately trying to keep cool, LOL. You ever seen that movie Demolition Man? Ice bath, baby.

Edit: Tthe movie was Universal Soldier :C

Only $50? I thought they would cost more. As long as I plan to go at least one more time after buying it then it does indeed pay for itself... I'm only just about an hour from Six Flags myself, so when I can get someone to go with me I do haha. Just depends on how much I can see myself using a season pass. Hmmmmm.

Yeah, here it's just $50. I was surprised too. They even sent me my 2010 pass in the mail to renew it haha it's awesome. I still haven't gotten around to doing it though.
