Whats the godfather like? my brothers bought the box set, and i've heard its meant to be good but i don't know i can be bothered to watch it or not. Is it good? Is it long? and is it better to watch with your friends or on your own?

I own the trilogy, and frankly, I love them. Part one is very good and should be seen as its needed to complete the trilogy, though in my view its the worst of the three films. The second part, which many regard as the best is phenominal. But in my view, part three is the most incredible. Either way though, the entire series is worth watching at least once, especially if a relative owns it so you don't have to spend money renting the films.

I watched it when i was about 10 years old, bored the hell out of me until the last 20 minutes. Maybe i would enjoy it more if i watched it now, but i didnt find it THAT amazing.

My Sky+ planner is full of films already xD (i've had 'Passion of the Christ' on it since last December, i just cant be arsed to watch it, lol), they will show it again i'm sure. It seems to me that Film4 is going to be more repetitive than Sky MoviesO_O.

I finally watched 'The Godfather' again last night (i first watched it when i was 10 and didn't 100% get it, lol, it bored me), i liked it this time though, good story with Al Pacino acting everyone else off the screen like always :D Its not amazing like most people would have you believe, but its still a decent film, i'd give it 8/10.

I've got Part II & III to watch over the next few nights, i recorded them onto my Sky+ thing.

im doing a level film studies at the mo, and the teacher's showing it after school on mon, so will watch it then. i love marlon brando, so should be ok
