Hmm advice please

Wellllll there's a girl in my class in sixth form who i really like and i am almost certain she likes me aswell, problem is she has a boyfriend. They've been on and off several times cause the lad cheated on her once and other times just being a general ass.

Despite this she seems happy enough with him looking at her facebook statuses, so decided to wait it out even though i always catch her looking at me, giggling at the lamest of things i say and always touching me in class , i just guessed she was extremely flirty. But then the other day i got 20 kisses at the end of a MSN chat o_O Record surely?

So im not sure if i should approach her or not, because on one side she seems happy on the outside with the kid even though he's a tit and i'm not usually the type to butt into someones relationship. But then she is giving me all these signals and thinking she might be fed up of him?

How are we supposed to know if she actually likes you or not? We don't know her...

Only thing I'll say is don't approach her about it, if she's truly interested in you- she'll leave that guy. Although if you do get with her in the end, don't be surprised if she gets flirty with someone else while she's with you- People's relationship histories have a habit of repeating themselves.

Approach carefully, supposedly as a buddy. Get close, but don't get romantic before you're in her life. You don't want to get kicked miles away every time she's back with her boyfriend. The trick is to become take a steady role in her life.

I'd say don't become her fallback or rebound guy- steer clear. If she wants to get with you she will make it very clear but Jinxie is completely right about relationship histories repeating themselves.

Also if she's still with him after he cheated on her then it probably means that if they break up it won't take much for her to go back to him, and she probably won't consider your feelings when that situation arises.

Here are two axioms I always tell people about girls with relationships.

1. Just because there's a goalie on the ice doesn't mean you can't score a point.
2. Her relationship is not your responsibility.

Also, "once a cheater, always a cheater" is a flawed mentality. I firmly believe that when women cheat, it's the man's fault. It's his fault for not keeping her interested. He probably got complacent, fat, or stopped romancing her. Maybe she's just a whore that loves dick more than she loves her commitment, and those girls are out there, but I'll actually come to the bat for women and say 90% of the time that isn't true.

What I always tell women in a relationship is that...what's the worst that could happen? They get coffee with me, decide they like me better, then dump their boyfriend and break up? Or they get their relationship reaffirmed in their mind. Win/win for them.

Listen, if you're a better man than her boyfriend, then you OWE it to her to break them up. Just be the better man, allow her to trade up. If he's a cockbag, he doesn't deserve her anyway.
