I agree. I think it's better to regret something that you did, rather than regretting not doing something. If you've only got 8 weeks then if she rejects you it's not the end of the world, but if she says yes, then you have 8 weeks of fun. I say go for it!

the girl doesn't have to say yes. shes not forced to. just gives him experience on asking girls out without feeling embarrased.
