Popular network is now casting for its docu-series, which will explore this topic and within each episode profile a family who is coping with the current stage of the parents divorce. We know that divorce does not just affect the parents, and are interested in hearing the perspectives of all members of your family. Yes my parents are divorced and have been since 1997 BUT there is no way i would go on tv and do the whole sob story thing about it....

My parents were married before I was born in the eighties, but my dad cheated on my mom and got another woman knocked up, so she divorced him. So I have a random half sister who also hates my dad.

Then I guess my mom was still in love with my dad so she thought something like "I know, If I have TWO of his kids he has to be with me!" so she started seeing him again and got pregnant on purpose and had my older sister and me. Then they were separated because my dad was selling weed and coke and fighting with my mom. When I was like three they got married again for like two months.

So I have my dads last name, my full sister has my moms, and my half sister has her moms. And we look nothing alike, so you cant even tell were related. The "fathers name" section on all of our birth certificates is blank, because he didnt want any of us. I was legally obligated to see my dad every other weekend up until I was thirteen, but he never paid any child support except for my braces. Sometimes I visit him and play with his horses and he lets me as long as I clean the barn and stuff.

When I was seven my mom got married to my stepdad and they hate each other, and I wish they would get a divorce but my mom loves not having to work and spending all his money so its not going to happen. I hate my stepdad, in a different way from the way I hate my real dad. But I dont think I would feel loss if either were dead (:
