I only wanted to be friends in the beginning....but now i think i like him...

So...out of all my guy friends iv known this one probly the shortest but i know him the most...i know...wierd...But i think i like him...I met him last year and actually started being friends with him at the time...We even went to a formal school dance together...girls were supposed to ask the guys but no...he asked me to go with him...and he has only been through one girlfriend since iv known him and they broke up after about 4 months...I hang out with him at school and we both have some of the same friends but i cna't tell if he likes me back or not...he is always hugging me even when i don't want a hug...he can always tell if somethings wrong with me even when im faking like im happy...Hes always teasing me and telling me how i should have been born blonde...We talk alot and i could talk to him about anything...what should i do??? does he like me??? Should i ask him out??/ How????

its always hard to truly know if a boy likes you... for example... i really like this one guy right now... and i thoguht he might have feelings for me... but a few days ago i told him i liked him... and he said that i was fun and all but he didnt feel the same way about me... so i guess you just have to be careful... before asking him out... you should find out how he feels about you... does he know that you like him?
