Moved to TV section, because it is a TV discussion :)

And it HAS to be Only Fools, comparing it to The Office is blasphemy.

lol me and my brother went though a phases where we watched them over and over for months. we just keep calling eachother 'dipstick', 'plonker' etc LOL

common phrases we use to eachother:
"what's that dipstick want now?"
"oh, nice one! Plonker!"
"You big wally!"
"Oh shut up you garretty old git!"
"Oi! What's your game?"

LOL and i answered the phone the other week, it was my brother's mate, when i passed it over, he obviously asked who i was, and my bro just went 'dipstick'.

I've got the series 1-7 box set. It truly is f*cking amazing.

Is that the boxset in the huge yellow and black spotted box (like Dels underwear, lol) that i keep seeing in HMV in Meadowhall? Last time i looked it was over £120O_O

Tim
May 30th '06, 01:47 PM
my favorate episode has gotta be either jolly boys outing, or the one where they go2 holland for diamonds. both have me ROFL

Chris
May 30th '06, 02:04 PM
Have you noticed the way that the Holland episode doesnt have any laughter in the background? You dont know when to laugh, lol.

Best episode is without a doubt the Miami Twice episodes, cant beat Rodders calling a Mob boss who looks like Del a "Git", rofl.

Tim
May 30th '06, 02:13 PM
oh yeah i forgot about that 1

Ben
May 30th '06, 02:20 PM
haha yeh well funny, he went "what you wearing that stupid tracksuit for?" and he's like "i just called the mafia boss a git" LOL

yeh some of the episodes don't carry a studio audience recording, like To Hull and Back, and A Royal Flush

it's much better with the studio audience LOL

It is yellow but not in the shape of Del's underwear!

Yeah it cost me about £100. Well worth it though. A collector's item aswell :)

Ben
May 30th '06, 05:53 PM

GRANDAD: No, had one before we left

Tim
May 30th '06, 05:55 PM
comedy u can't beat

Luke
May 30th '06, 06:03 PM
Jemmy? It's Jimmy. As in Jimmy Riddle = Piddle. Cockey rhyming slang.

Ben
May 30th '06, 06:38 PM
no. a 'jemmy' is another word for a crowbar. (Del offers Grandad a crowbar)

Grandad thinks Del said 'jimmy' (ie jimmy riddle)
