Hey up everyone i know there is already a topic created on the film 'United 93' but i thought id create another one , as this is more of a debate if anythink, i mean what do you all think about them creating a film on a horrific incident.

At first when i was tild about it by a friend i thought OMG as if there gonna make a film about the terroists and you know indeirectly give them publicity etc, but when i saw a clip and it showed people standing upto the terrorists i thought it was brill.

I havnt yet seen the film, i duno if any of you have? If so do you think that the terrorists are publicised or do you thikn the film is made to basically give respect to the heroes.

I think its been made to give respect to the 'heroes', the fact that its not actually an American made film leads me to believe that it wont be full of patriotic crap, and that it will infact tell the story as it is supposed to have happened.

Due to the terrorists getting overpowered in the end (sorry if you didnt know this, but seriously, what planet have you been on?, lol), i dont think its 'publicising' them at all, it just shows that they are only in power as long as the captives allow them to be and this gives off a message of hope.

I'll definitley go and watch it (when ive got enough money, i'm skint, lol), and it has been getting very positive reviews, although whether these reviews have been out of respect for the dead instead of rating it on the quality as a film will remain to be seen.
