On iTunes you can download the first episode (1hr 30 mins) of the new "Blade: The Series". Its set after the third movie. You do need an iTunes account though (needs a credit card/paypal account even though the actual episode is free to download). Heres hoping they show this in the UK sometime.

Its not got Wesley Snipes in it though, they found someone who looks like him, still...it wont be the same :(

For one week, iTunes users can now download a FREE copy of the two-hour premiere of SPIKE TV's first original scripted series: "Blade: The Series" which made its network debut yesterday. The one-hour weekly series' second episode premieres on Wednesday, July 5 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. New episodes will be available on iTunes the day after their premiere on-air.

The "iTunes Two-Hour Premiere" of "Blade: The Series," features Kirk "Sticky" Jones in the title role of Marvel's immortal half-man, half-vampire who uses his superhuman powers and skills to fearlessly battles the demonic creatures of the night in a blood-drenched crusade to prevent their rise over mankind.

"Blade: The Series" maintains the continuity from New Line Television /Marvel Studio’s highly successful movie trilogy, but brings the main character into new storylines and characters. The two-hour premiere opens with Blade (Jones) setting up shop in Detroit, investigating the vampire House of Chthon. Along the way, he forms an uneasy alliance with Krista Starr (Jill Wagner), a former military veteran who becomes entrenched in the world of vampires while investigating the murder of her twin brother.

Still haven't seen the 3rd film. Of course given what a let down part 2 was, I have no interest in doing so. Accordingly, I'll have to pass on this one. Besides, horror shows tend only to work when episode plots are independent (eg "Tales From the Crypt", "Night Gallery", "Freaky Stories", ect).

I can't find it. :/
Open iTunes, type 'Blade' in the search bar at the top, scroll down to the 'TV Seasons' box on the left side of the screen, click the 'Blade: The Series' tab which will take you to the episode list/synopsis, then click 'Get Episode' near the bottom opposite the episode name :)

And gprime, the third film was good, but not as good as either of the previous films. Obviously Blade 1 was the best (the club fight at the start was awesome), but i thought Blade 2 was excellent too, it introduced a new bad guy/species while keeping the story progressing to the next level, i would hardly call it a dissapointment. Blade Trinity wasn't as good because it tried to shift the focus from Blade on to a new group of vampire hunters called "Nightstalkers", it just didn't seem to work very well due to it seeming like Blade had been made into a Sub-Character :( Despite that though, it was still a decent film.
