GCSEs are not only done in UK. It is also done in Singapore. Singapore was once controlled by the British so we follow the same education. But we call it GCE or Olevels. Im taking my GCSEs this year too and im so nervous. Once we've done our papers, they are sent to Cambridge for marking.

Yeah i onli did 9.5 Tim. but some people, more of the brainy ones, do 3 sciences and not the duel award!, and some people do full course R.E. but tbh i couldnt be arsed!

yeh the bare minimum in my school was 9 and 2 halves
made up of maths (1), double science (2) english language and english literature (2), a technology subject (1), a humanities subject (1), two general options (2) and also two half courses in IT and citizenship (2x 1/2)

but the extra ones were the Full IT Course (which i took, and failed - but it was great to do it, i learned a lot in access), the FastTrack PE Course, Statistics (extra maths), An extra Science (the Triple Award - so one grade for each - Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and i think thats it!

no, ya dont get them, we' never know what we got wrong, which is pretty crappy, cos i wouldv loved to know where i went wrong

To bo honest, it would seem quite a logical thing to do, so you know what things you need to cover and work harder on if you're carrying to subject on.. Or just to pinpoint your weaknesses really!

no.... we do get tested... i think ours was netball, which i totally fukin hate.. hockey and summat else.. and with our course we had to do practical and writing, cos we had to make a training program

Yeah i'm not too bad at languages to be honest. Doing them both at college and my mate is African so he speaks french as his first language and I sit with him so that kinda helps too.
