I think it's disgusting these days how anybody can do these sorts of things, let alone a teenager. It brings to my memory the Jamie Bulger case. I mean, what sort of people are these teengers going to grow up to be if then can hurt babies and children at such a young age?

It's not only that, it's the fact of, potentially, what they could do. If they think nothing of hurting a child whilst a mere teenanger, they could easily do the same on a much larger scale as an adult.

They said it was possible he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, they didn't say it was for definate. Still, whilst under the influence of alcohol, you don't lose all self control and become your alter ego; so it's possible he's still potentially harmful.

What kind of sick mother funkin bastard is he? I definately would have choped his balls off.
The sad thing is though is that if they do catch him he is just going to go to prison for a few wears and the be set free.

August 27th '05, 02:31 PM
^ yeah, and he'll probably do it again.

August 27th '05, 02:32 PM
Criminals almost always do it again. They're obviously not intelligent if they commit the crime in the first place.

so whats the option? stick them in prison for life? tag them?
Patriot1776
August 27th '05, 02:43 PM
That's the problem these days. The crime isn't severe enough to execute him, so the worst they could do is send him to prison for life, but prisons these days certainly aren't punishments. Most maximum secuirity prisons these days have gyms, movie theatres, colleges etc.

^ this greatly annoys me, how is this punishment, they should look at japanese prisons etc.
Patriot1776
August 27th '05, 02:46 PM
Even worse. Studies have shown that more government funds are used in making prisoners comfortable than in making sure our children suceed in school.

I think this is a great problem these days. Punishment just isn't what it used to be. This is a large reason why crime rates are so high - people know they are going to get away with it practically.

People think these issues aren't important on a world scale, but in reality they are.
Ever realize that the Columbian drug cartels don't have power in any of the Asia countries?

That actually is true. There are 11 different traits that can be used to figure out who is going to grow up to be s serial killer. It's scary, but usually the sociopathic part of these killers develops around age 9.

Patriot, I can really see that to be honest.
It just seems to make sense.

The traits aren't that spectacular either. In fact many of them you see everyday.
1.Cruel to animals
2.Unhealthy amounts of daydreaming
3.Constantly setting fire to things.
4.Assaultive towards adults.
5.Bed wetting at advanced age.
6.Eating disorders.
7.Unhealthy amounts of headaches.
8.Stealing
9.Vandalism
10.Excessive phobias.
11.Rebellious
12.Chronic lying
13.Temper tantrums at advanced age.
14.Isolation
15.Compulsive Masturbation.
16.Father leaves before age twelve or is very abusive towards child.

Things like this often happen at a young age with serial killers. Ed Gein murdered his brother at age 9.

These traits I see almost everyday around where I live, in teenagers. Often several of the highlighted traits to each person, stretching to all of the highlighted. It's really quite worrying, to think that these teenagers will become adults legally soon.
What damage can/will they do then?

August 28th '05, 01:54 PM
It is scary, but it is mainly that last one you need to worry about. Many of those traits are common among teenagers. The father one is the one that plays the largest role among serial killers. Still, it is scary how many of the traits kids our age actually have.

Yes, I know. Though you don't often know about fathers, as violence and abusive behaviour is often kept 'behind closed doors' as they say. As families like to keep their personal business private - so often outsiders don't know whether the child is being abused and whether is could or will affect the child later in life.

In many cases though the child will tell his friends or someone. I've had friends who were abused at home and they always told me. My dad is a cop so they can trust that I will do something about it.

Ew I think that is so disgusting! They seem to prey on helpless children that clearly haven't done anything wrong!
I say bring back the death penalty! Lol, I'm fed up of hearing how prisoners get TV's and gyms and all that luxury! People in poor coun tries like Bangladesh who don't commit a crime don't even get that sort of luxury!

hrm. He was a chav accorrding to the description (most of those ive seen with those 16 things are chavs.) Anyway a lot of people at my school have all of those and some wouldnt surprise me if they urned out as sociopaths. If this guy was drunk then he was probably acting after something devastating to him. Maybe his gf was just found to be pregnant? if he was a sociopath then he would go for the same types of people.
